Keeping it real with 'Lanvin'

Two words that makes our hearts beat just a little faster: Albert Elbaz.

For those of you who don't know who this man is? He is the Einstein of fashion and can be described as PURE GENIUS! ..

Ok .. and the creative director of Lanvin. One of our top favorite high-end luxurious brands that never fails us when it comes to fashion. We fall in love with Lanvin every season on the runway shows and this time, our eyes stepped away from the runways and focused on their latest Fall/Winter 2012 ad campaign that recently surfaced the media.

Beautiful is all we can say, Elbaz confidently dove into this idea taking a very bold step for the brand and in our opinion it couldn't have turned any better than what was expected. The Fall/Winter 2012 campaign showcased a sense of reality to the fashion world by casting 'real people' between the ages of 16-82 instead of professional models.

In the words of Mr. Elbaz regarding the shoot: 'Fashion doesn't look good only on models, it can look good on different people of different ages and different body shapes'. & we couldn't agree more, such an inspiring 'one of a kind' campaign that combined real individuals from different backgrounds, all under the name of  the Lanvin brand.

Weekend is around the corner!! enjoy
