And I got my heart set on what happens next, I got my eyes wide it's not over yet, we are miracles
It's all about Milan! A month has passed since MFW S/S'12 wrapped up its stages and we still aren't able to get our minds off of it! designers collections really did take Milan by a storm this year! These are our favorites:
Marching down the runways was a contrast of fierce and strong looks to softer and feminine looks, with a lot of inspiration taken from various eras running back between the roaring 1920's with all the straight-cuts and masculine silhouettes that was broken down by sheers and organzas to vintage 1950's and 60's twisted into a modern mix through mod silhouettes and retro in chiffons and laces.
Beautiful use of radiant color palettes made their way this year ranging from deep mandarins, amber yellows to shiny golds, not to mention the rich emerald greens and our favorite pastels: champagnes, pistachios and rosy pinks! as for the prints, they were a big hit personally! the shimmery rough geometrics and blend of over sized floral and fruit motifs enhanced the pieces leaving them looking beautiful then ever!
and of course, never forgetting the finishing touches: The metals, the fringes, the colorful jewels and crystals!
we have fallen hard for this one! which MFW S/S'12 collection are you crushing on?
